Overheard NYC
On Christmas:
"It's a f#@$in' phenomenal holiday. The trees, the lights."
"It's a f#@$in' phenomenal holiday. The trees, the lights."
The mental journeys of one man going back and forth on the R-Train from queens to Manhattan to Queens, rinse, repeat.
3 Comments:
the tree? the lights? what about
the traffic?
the ridiculous tourists stopping every step to take pictures and block my foot path?
the fact that retail outlets start it two months too early?
that you can't get within a mile radius of any shopping mall - ANYWHERE?
that radio stations play Xmas songs over and over again - and I don't feel very holidayesque hearing the R&B break down version of White Christmas?
did i mention the f-in tourists?
the radio city xmas spectacular - smell the camel, read the lies, watch the fat ass stuffed bear shake her ass to Tchaikovsky...
To quote Mr. Garrison of South Park:
"Hey there, Mr. Hindu, Merry F&*$in' Christmas!"
Ah, the Christmas spirit is alive and well...
